art in bloom: Tickets and packages now available

December 9th, 2011

From food to flowers to the farmers’ market, the 2012 Art in Bloom at the Pensacola Museum of Art promises spring’s freshest take on cooking, décor and entertaining.  The event dates are March 22 to 24, 2012.

The annual PMA event brings eclectic visual arts and the natural beauty of flowers together for stunning presentations, informative lectures, a variety of demonstrations and all the fun that comes with party planning.

Bringing her stellar style to the March event is lifestyle guru and party planner to the stars Lulu Powers. Known for her fresh, innovative take on entertaining, Powers’ best-selling book “Lulu Powers: Food to Flowers” is a hip how-to for the new generation of hosts and hostesses. Bright, saturated colors, sparkling details and a decidedly non-stuffy approach endear Powers to her high-powered celebrity clients and everyday fans across the country.

Local style stars will be showing off their skills as well. As in years past, the region’s best floral artists will compete to create floral sculptures and arrangements inspired by works of art in the PMA’s accompanying exhibitions.  The area’s top chefs will inspire audiences with recipes for spring and summer entertaining in the new “Blooming Chef” demonstrations.

Event packages and tickets for individual events are now available at the PMA. There are several sponsorship levels that include a variety of benefits, including lecture and demonstration tickets, signed books and tickets to the Art in Bloom lunch and opening gala. Packages range from $100 to $2500. These sponsorship packages are available at the PMA for individuals, organizations or companies.
