Opera, delectable sweets and a journey to faraway places – it’s a recipe for romance at the February 2 Culture Club.
Our featured artist is Pensacola photographer Daniel Ewert, whose spectacular landscape photography transports the viewer to scenic vistas all across the country.

Ewert's work has been nationally and internationally shown, including:
• Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, Washington D.C. (November 2008 through May 2009)
• 2010 National Geographic Traveler Great Outdoors Photography Contest--1st Place Category Winner of "Scenes of the Natural World"
• 2009 & 2010 National Wildlife Federation Annual Photography Contest (Honorable Mention)
• 2009 Nature Conservancy Photography Contest (Honorable Mention)
• 2010 BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition (Finalist)
• MSNBC / MSN Website and Fox News Website
The Pensacola Opera will be providing the evening’s music, performing vignettes from their winter production of Madama Butterfly.
And several Pensacola restaurants are contributing sweets for the sweet in a variety of bite-sized desserts that will give you a sampling of what to get your sweetheart for Valentine’s day.
The United Way Emerging Leaders Society is our partner in February’s event and will be on hand with information about their organization. They are also providing Culture Club with volunteers and an amazing selection of raffle prizes, including:
