 Annual Youth Art Focus

January 10, 2012 - February 11, 2012

The Pensacola Museum of Art, in commemoration of National Youth Art month and in partnership with the Escambia County School System, presents our 56th annual Youth Art Focus.  This exhibition presents a collection of work from over 500 Escambia County school students, grades pre-K through 12, recognizing their strong artistic achievements and your dedication to art education.  Youth Art Focus creates an opportunity to expose students to the fine art world in a professional museum environment, while giving the public a chance to explore the Escambia County’s Art Education programs.

There will be three receptions for the exhibition:

- Focus on Art Educator’s reception, January 17, 5 to 7 p.m.

- Middle and high school reception, January 19, 5 to 7 p.m.

- Elementary reception, grades pre-K - 4, January 20, 5 to 7 p.m.

Cash awards will be given at the student receptions which are underwritten annually by the PMA Guild.
